WHAT MY CLIENTS SAY ABOUT ME
“I had a pinched nerve in my neck, shoulder and arm for over a month, haven’t slept. Went to see Melanie who also teaches our community yoga program. She’s a genius. Two session and I had such a relief it was amazing. Thank you Melanie. Your Manual Osteo work was phenomenal. Highly recommend her.” ~ Elaine
“My session with you was a miracle! Walked out without pain that was lingering for months. I’ve had issues with my pelvis since the end of my pregnancy (almost 6 months) and tried physio, massage, and even chiro. But Osteopathic treatment helped me the most. I cannot wait for another session with Melanie.” ~ Maya
“Due to living in an aging body that's been through decades of tough use, I have extensive experience receiving treatment in the form of physio, massage, acupuncture and chiro. Mel is my first osteopath and incredibly adept at her profession. During our first appointment, it took her mere moments to pinpoint an issue simply from my description of the pain. She then proceeded to apply treatment which left me feeling better. She also recommended several things I could do on my own to keep the pain away. I've been back several times, with different ailments, each time leaving feeling better. If your body is in any sort of pain, see Mel and she will help ease it, it's that simple.”
~ Mike
"Melanie was my first osteopath appointment and I wasn't sure what to expect! She was kind and personable and really made me feel comfortable. After only one appointment she was able to hone in and diagnose the cause of some discomfort I'd been dealing with and bring ease. I found her to be very holistic and knowledgeable in her approach - not only as an attentive osteopath but also incorporating her knowledge and background in other, complimentary disciplines. I will for sure be seeing Melanie again and highly recommend her." ~Sarah
11/10 I would recommend anyone and everyone to come see you for some Osteopathic treatment! You were so kind and talked me through the whole process with ease. I left my appointment feeling like a new human and days later I'm still feeling like I am more aligned, have more mobility and less pain so THANK YOU. I am already booked in for my next visit and I can't wait to see you again! ~ Cherokee
About Melanie
Melanie is a Calgary-based Manual Osteopath, 500hr RYT Yoga Teacher, Certified Nutritional Practitioner & Reiki Master.
Growing up as an athlete, Melanie always had a passion and curiosity for health & wellness. After becoming a Certified Nutritional Practitioner in 2013 she began to understand that being healthy wasn't just about the food you used to fuel your body, it was just as important to nourish the emotional, spiritual and energetic aspects of yourself as well. She began pursuing yoga initially for injury-prevention and fitness but quickly began to see positive shifts in her emotional, spiritual and energetic self that helped her find that whole-body balance she was looking for. She began teaching yoga in 2016 but that wasn’t the end of her journey. Plagued with injuries from sports, car accidents and scoliosis, Manual Osteopathic treatments became a monthly ritual to align and support her constantly moving body. She found this style of treatment revolutionary to her healing and decided to become one herself at the National Manual Osteopathic College. She graduated with Honours in 2021 and is now offering treatments out of her own clinic space in Calgary, Alberta.
